This is one of the first meals I learned how to make as a kid. My cousins and I would sleepover my Aunty's house and we would either bake something or cook something or both. There was always something that we did! She even taught my son to make crumb chicken as well!!
Let's jump right into. I see so many posts about cooking something and they don't get to it until the end of the post so I won't keep you waiting (reading.)
Here are the ingredients
Chicken Wings
Crumbs (here are some examples of what we use: Shake N' Bake, Progresso Bread crumbs, Kellogos corn flake crumbs and even homemade ones. Now we buy whatever is the cheapest or use what we have.)
Mayo (we learned to make it with Best Foods Mayonnasie but now I like using the Kewpie Mayo if we have it)
Other seasonings to add to the crumbs: peper, salt, garlic (optional)
And thats it!!
Next is assembling the chicken. Have a baking sheet or pan ready for the chicken to be baked on! Before you start assembling your chicken preheat your chicken to 375 degrees. We will bake the wings for 40-50 mins depending on how many chicken wings there are and the thickeness of the chicken. I usually just keep an eye on it and add more time if needed!
First you want to make sure your chicken is dry so it gets extra crispy and the crumbs really stick! Then coat your wings with the mayo of your choise and lastly put it in the crumbs. Make sure the chicken wing is fully coated with the mayo and crumbs so there's a crunch in every bite.

Once your chicken is cooked let it cool for a bit because it will be hot! But you definately want to eat it fresh! This time we made it we served it with some brocoli and rice! You can enjoy it with whatever sides you prefer!
This is just a reminder if you learned something from your parents, grandparents, auntys/uncles don't forget to share it! I know sometimes you want to keep the recipe close, but make it a family moment! So that one day waaay in the furture your other family can enjoy it too!!
Happy Cooking!
XO, Kaelin
